Beer Garden is leafy and peaceful for the most part on weekdays. But weekends you can order bbq brisket from their on site 'hipster' caravan - def worth it with a pint. Hotel menu is also in play re the garden and the new harvest cellar is next door (great looking cal wine selection). A little foodie hot spot.
King room package included $140 to spend on food in the restaurant. All our meals were delicious and decent serving size. Reasonably priced wine list serving local bottles. Bed was comfortable and fresh flowers throughout pub added to the Edwardian charm
For the price of the meals I did expect a little bit more. It isn't bad but not fitting the price, the meat I had was overcooked and does need flavour, my husband's trout also could have had some flavour but it was ok... however great wine selection lovely place lovely staff, needs slight improvement and I will be back..
Rubbish for service ordered steak medium rare. Came out well done sent back steak came out the same. How can you get it wrong twice and waited over an hour for food.
Shared a few meals with some friends in the dinning room area. Dishes were hit and miss. Would consider going to the Bbq area if in the area again. Little more casual few to it compared to dinning room. Wasn't bad but wasn't great on food for price. Service was good.
