AMAZING cheeses, wines and gorgeous food!! Best spot in the Yarra valley
Last January we had an absolutely amazing experience at the cellar door - great tasting experience, lovely lunch, friendly staff. 12 months later I was trying to track down the name of a wine that was on their rotating guests wine list, and the incredible Rose went out of her way to help track it down. Thank you again Rose! It's a great venue and we will definitely be back!
The service and food was good. But they made us sit in sun glaring at us. I had booked a table for 9 at 6PM 2days ago and they had assigned a table that had sun glaring at us. It was a terrible place to sit with sun. We requested for a different table, for which the staff denied. It was not a great experience.
Good service and the food was nice too. The sourdough breads are amazing. I did not love the wine tasting experience as there weren't any wines in the selection that I truly liked and this comes from a not very fussy wine drinker.
One of my favourite winery-restaurants in the whole Yarra Valley. The menu changes regularly and I'd do of interesting variations on standard restaurant meals - pizza, pasta, steak, desserts - with a huge wine list, much of it made on site. If you like beer or cider, there are choices from the locals and interstate brewers. A great place for lunch, dinner, or a Sunday afternoon with friends.
