Little roadside park on the Yarra River. Couple of picnic tables and a short walk along the river. Couple of big shady trees. Cool off in the creek if you dare

Nice little park of Maroondah near the Yarra Bridge. Offers about a 600m loop walk from the car park down along the river bank and back to the carpark. You can swim there in 2 spots. The first one near the picnic area is shallow with little or no current whilst the second one is on the corner of the walk down an embankment with a small sand beach when the river is not high. Good for kids to swim with supervision.
