As a local in healesville for many years i have enjoyed going to the black spur nursery for good advice and quality products but recently after the revamp i have noticed that the new staff although very friendly and helpful have very little experience which is disappointing as i am not very experienced in gardening i must say it really felt like a 7/11 experience which makes me sad for our great town
They have dodgy staff. Crystal and her husband Troy Eastham are con artists. They have a track record of ripping of their clients from their cladding business (TE Cladding).
This garden centre has improved over the last 12 months. The plants are healthy and there is a good range. There is new giftware. Florist is still good and better than buying flowers at the supermarket. The cafe is much more pleasant than the noisy tourist traps elsewhere in the area. Highly recommended!
